Speeding up Vista

I have been using Vista Ultimate since the release in the UK and I am quite happy with it (apart from the issues that seem to be fixed with iTunes). I have found a few things though that could make things work a bit smother if you don’t mind turning off some of the “features” though most you probably wont be using. (continue reading…)
Vista has landed

Yesterday I picked up a copy of Vista Ultimate x86 and have taken the brave step of flattening my XP box with it. And I have to say this is the best release of windows I have seen install on first day. It has found all my hardware and got most of my drivers itself. I haven’t found any compatibility’s probs yet but will post if I find any. All I will say at the moment is that I wouldn’t believe the neg press this release has had thus far. But if your a business user I would hold fire for a little while yet.
